It sounds good to me. I would like to submit PR for views support on JDBC
Catalog. But I guess it will take time for review.

If we can wait at least a week before starting the release process it would
be great.
You will need help from a PMC member to complete some tasks.

I saw also the community meeting has been canceled. It would have been good
to have a message on the mailing list to explain. The community could have
make it even if a few people are still on vacation. I would be ok to take
notes and record.
