The more things that are documented in JIRA the better IMO,people know what’s 
being worked on, people can easily find known issues, steps don’t get missed in 
releases and the one that are fixed are then documented in releases. I 
certainly don’t think it should be compulsory but IMO more use of JIRA would 
help the community as whole.
