Hi, Also something that may help here’s a worked license and notice example video [1] and instruction on github [2] (pull requests welcome) I created a little while back. I plan on putting a few of these together to help people with license/notice issues as they seem to come up reasonably often (more so on the incubator list).
Just out of interest I notice your repo is ASF licensed. It doesn’t mention the bundled MIT license in the LICENSE file. Legally that’s fine by the terms of the MIT license, but if it was an Apache project it would not be in line with current ASF policy. Also if this was an Apache project it would require a minimal NOTICE file, but again that’s not required for external projects. If you want an Apache project to use this code at some point IMO it would be good to add a NOTICE file.
