[1] In the case of that file the original project is a paid for commercial product [2] so I’m not sure that how MIT could even apply. I note at the bottom of the page It states is free for non commercial use under a CC-ANC license but that's not compatible license with Apache. [3] [1] also states: "Keep in mind the repos is a community project with a wide range on quality in contributions and moderation" This has been discussed many time on many lists, we need to take care when accepting code from github projects.
