But that's only if you try to use the source package in an IDE.  I built
the source package, and was able to run bin/amxmlc to compile an AIR app
without running any other scripts.  And was able to use the adl in the AIR
SDK pointed to by the AIR_HOME environment variable to run the app.

So, IMO, this failure case is not for all users of the source-package (if
there are any), but for those trying to transform the results into an
IDE-compatible SDK, for which there is no mention of that in the README's
section on the source distribution.

I say we ship as is.  Folks can argue about how to change the README when
some user actually asks about this problem.
