I'm impressed with the detail, and with the speed with which you provided it. And I very much like the idea of a JIRA board. My experience is that it is easier to keep discussions on topic in JIRA than on a mailing list. If we are going to pursue a President's committee, a post on operati...@apache.org would be in order. Included in that post would be a list of people who have volunteered to date and a call for volunteers.
