Still working perfectly after overnight  run.  gnome-system-monitor was
about 7% All gui apps still running.

Powered down, re-installed gtx1080. left both monitors on Eyefinity 6.
No monitor on gtx1080.

Came back up with both screens working.

The gtx1080 is using the Xorg driver.

It all seems stable.
