I added the flag MUTTER_DEBUG_FORCE_KMS_MODE=simple to /etc/environment. >>so it's also possible Chrome has consumed too many resources (looks like while decoding video?). Does the problem happen without Chrome running?
I have always Chrome opened in background, so difficult to answer this. The bug happen mainly when using chrome, but I have seen this crash with other apps as well.
