@Daniel Fixed!
Thanks for your post about checking the Unity version... There is a newer version of Unity available in the proposed repository, that I had enabled. So it was not your version of Unity from the ppa that was installed, but the newer version. Since I don't know how to downgrade, I did a fresh install of 11.10 and enabled your ppa and now the fix is working. Stupid from me not to notice this earlier... But thank you very much for your time and fast responses. For your information on my fresh install the gnome display tool still looks as in the screenshot I posted earlier, but that doesn't matter because the Dash is on the primary screen. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/742544 Title: Launcher is shown on the wrong screen in some multi-monitor setups To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana-design/+bug/742544/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
