Yes, without them compiz doesn't work. Move is responsible for letting
you move windows around, resize is responsible for letting you resize
windows, place is responsible for making your windows not all show up
under your panel, decoration is responsible for windows getting title
bars, animation is responsible for minimize working and state changes
being emphasized.
