That's just not true. My server has been rock-solid since I updated to
8.2HF1. Keep in mind that you're reading a "support" list where people
post their problems. You don't see any "My server is still running
fine" posts because people report only problems here. I would venture
to guess that the problem to installed-base ratio is probably pretty low
(or high, which one is better?). I, for one, am running the latest
8.2HF in Imail, and the latest Declude 2.0.6, and I don't see the
resource problem ever. The only problem I have had lately (that wasn't
totally my own fault) is with Declude Hijack, and that was easily worked
around.

I'm still on IMail 7.15 and Declude 1.81. Every time I think about
updating to the latest, there's an issue of some ilk being hashed-out.
Stability with the newer versions seems to be a lost cause.

Subject: [Declude.JunkMail] Move to 8.15 or 8.2?

Hi all,

I've been following the threads on system resources being consumed and
some
of the issues with SMTP and logging with IMail 8.2. I am still running
8.05
HF3 and it's been pretty solid but I want to at least get to a point
where
the recent vulnerabilities are patched.

So...I'm interested in the collective wisdom of whether it is advised to
go
to 8.15 HF2 or 8.2 HF2 and then what version of Declude would be best
(I'm
on 1.82 right now.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Andy
