Severity: normal

Looking at http://www.debian.org/contact one sees
"Simply subscribe to debian-user and send your question to
[EMAIL PROTECTED]"

indeed, "Simply subscribe" could trash one's POP box if a low
bandwidth modem user. No mention is given about NNTP sites,
eg. gmane.org, news2.sinica.edu.tw, etc. for reading.
Remember to add a note that postings may still need to be sent to the
list by mail.

even worse, http://lists.debian.org/
makes no mention of the existence of http://gmane.org/ !!!
