Hi, I found that some of sitemap pages of Debian website are not translated, while others are translated. I mean, site selector at top right, title ("Site map for Debian web pages"), tabs ("About Debian", "Getting Debian", ...), "Search", and footer sentences ("Back to the Debian Project homepage", language selector, and others) of http://www.debian.org/sitemap . Note that sitemap.wml must not be translated and, for example, webwml/german/sitemap.wml doesn't exist.
The following pages are translated: http://www.debian.org/sitemap.da.html http://www.debian.org/sitemap.de.html http://www.debian.org/sitemap.eo.html http://www.debian.org/sitemap.fr.html http://www.debian.org/sitemap.lt.html http://www.debian.org/sitemap.zh-cn.html The following pages are NOT translated: http://www.debian.org/sitemap.ca.html http://www.debian.org/sitemap.es.html http://www.debian.org/sitemap.it.html http://www.debian.org/sitemap.ja.html http://www.debian.org/sitemap.ko.html http://www.debian.org/sitemap.ru.html Note that the top page (www.debian.org/index) for these untranslated languages have translated site selectors and footers, which means that these untranslated pages are NOT due to lack of translation. Another note is that navigation bars (blue buttons on red bar) are translated for all of these languages, which means that these pages are intended to be for proper languages. Also, character encoding is not responsible here, because simplified Chinese (GB2312 encoding) is translated while Italian (ISO-8859-1) is not. What's wrong for these untranslated languages? --- Tomohiro KUBOTA <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://www.debian.or.jp/~kubota/
