Sadly, a discussion over proof cannot solve the issue. The request of a single eligible voter—motivated by fear or otherwise—should trigger a secret procedure. (Although it is not so in a representative body, where accountability is paramount.) That is what my high school did, when I served as student leader. In a positive light, secrecy requests are a great measure of the environment in which a vote was conducted, and also show the health of the community with respect to mutual trust. Kind regards Felix Lechner
