On my Fedora system at home it has a higher version and I don't run into
this issue.

I use Debian 13 on my work system at work where I use remmina a lot and
this remmina bug
is quite an annoyance. I tried using the Flatpak
version(org.remmina.Remmina 1.4.43 )
on Debian where the bug isn't there anymore because being an up-to-date
version. But
with the Flatpak version I'm running into other inconveniences.

Just to set your expectations, it's quite possible that you will never
see this fix in Debian 13. With only a few exceptions, new versions of
software don't get added to stable releases of Debian, only individual
patches are backported into the stable release.
If it was a security bug then the Debian security team would be pushing
it and it should appear fairly quickly, but if it's a "it crashes when
I
do a thing" kind of situation then unless a Debian maintainer of
Remmina
takes an interest then it's not going to be done.
By using "reportbug" you can try to make them aware of the matter and
its upstream fix. They might already be aware, or even already working
on it.
It doesn't look like Remmina is available in trixie-backports, so at
present no one is building newer versions of it for Debian. If it
doesn't seem like this fix will be backported then possibly someone
might package the whole thing for trixie-backports. If someone was
already doing so then it would just be a matter of waiting for that,
but
as there's not it does require a volunteer.
If no one is interested in backporting this fix, or packaging a
backport
that has this fix, you may need to install Remmina from outside of
Debian.
