The recommendation is to use `reportbug` (with its configuration in file
`~/.reportbug`) because it allows you both to check if an issue already is known
in first place, if not to file the bug, or to request a new package (by
`reportbug wnpp` on the terminal).
By the record on the package tracker (https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/remmina)
the most recent update intended for branch `testing` is stuck. I recommend to
get in touch with the most recent uploader if this can be fixed in first place.
This out of the way - given the high numbers on popcon - maybe he is
interested to provide a backport (including the fix to the bug you encounter)
to branch stable (see https://backports.debian.org/). Backports to Debian
however is an opt-in, both on the side of maintainers, as well on the side of
the user.
Presuming this were fixed today, this takes about 5 days to update branch
`testing`, plus additional 5 days for the backport "to get through" if the
uploader is a Debian developer. If the uploader needs a sponsor, his updates
typically go to the mentors page (https://mentors.debian.net/) first.
