Let me provide a dissenting view. I use "pass". It might even be built in. I don't recall. It's a command line program, but it encrypts anything you like, including security questions, usernames, etc. It encrypts using GPG, so you never have to worry about your password program going away or being dropped from Debian. And it will copy your password (or anything else in the the password file) to the clipboard for pasting into your browser. It allows you to search for your password files using a partial name. I keep a terminal open at all times for various purposes, including to use this program.
