And everything came to work. Pavucontrol shows the devices, streams and configurations. All media-players (audacious, mplayer, firefox, audacity, etc.) work with default audio configuration, and even JACK is working flawlessly. In fact, tested JACK (qjackctl) with qsynt and vmpk and everything worked fine (maybe I don't even need timidity at all?). And then - testing if could reinstall - found the cause of the problem: $ sudo apt-get install timidity Leyendo lista de paquetes...
