Yes; the CD images routinely are designed for USB booting. Just use dd to copy the image to the USB device. I do not recall where I saw the recommendation for the blocksize parameter, but this is what I use: # dd if=<isoimagename>.iso of=/dev/sdb bs=8M Russ
