So far this does not look really abnormal. When I install Virtualbox, I always get this error during installation, but after the next reboot, it works. Have you tried to ignore the errors, reboot and test if Virtualbox works? Have you setup DKMS properly to automatically build the module? (On my systems it does this automatically without any special setup) On my system it looks like this [ 0] MAEM masysma-3:~$ dpkg -l | grep virtualbox | cut -c -40 ii virtualbox ii virtualbox-dkms ii virtualbox-fuse ii virtualbox-ose ii virtualbox-ose-dkms ii virtualbox-ose-fuse ii virtualbox-qt The "ose" packages are no longer necessary.
