I have to plug it because it is free. If you want a manual or a cd you can buy one, but download the latest version with all features for free email for ever, not crippled, no ads. The creator David Harris has a philosophy of providing his email client free as a service so that everybody can communicate to the full. Academic institutions support him by buying site licences to sell printed manuals to users which is how I latched onto it. He is not handing out the code, but he is dedicated to not charging for the software per se which he has done since before windows was a dream even. A linux version? Has been discussed but do not know what the state of progress is on that. Gotta say it is my favourite program of all time.
