I've been running 2.4.20 on my laptop since the day after it came out.
Last night I reinstalled my laptop(new HD), and installed it again, works
good, I opted for ext3 this time around(reiserfs v2 before for 2.2.x
compadiblity) to see if it improves the ability to spin down the disk
(reiserfs prevented the disk from spinning down before, maybe it could
spin down for 10 seconds per 12 hours). There are up to 6 ext3 patches
for 2.4.20 which are probably a good idea to apply if you plan to use
ext3.

oh and yes I do run woody, I don't run testing or unstable anywhere
at the moment with no plans to change that(at the moment).

My laptop is serving as my 2.4.x testbed, most everything else I run
is 2.2.x still.
