Hmm, I'm running a potato system using most as my pager. Most on
my system handles gzipped files automatically (filename.gz).
There was no configuration needed on my part. There isn't a
default 'config' file that sets this up; most apparently handles
gzipped files internally, right out of the box. Perhaps you have
an older version?
