Usually for some time after rebooting it's fine, then after some time, scrolling in the top 40% or so of the terminal's height (I've done extensive testing on this), the cursor is really slow to jump around. In the lower 60% of the terminal (in vim) the cursor moves normally - as in, no lagginess, no jumping - it happily keeps up with my keyboard repeat rate. tia zen -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
