Hi, I do not want to push against Lenny data inside UDD. I just want to bring up the topic because I realised that the UDD hosting machine is not as powerfull as sometimes needed and we are starting to include more derivatives than just Ubuntu. So it might make sense to consider droping Lenny data after having dropped security support for this release.
When thinking about Lenny and stable I was wondering if we could reduce the work load of importing data when checking whether an import is really necessary. I did so for the ddtp importer which maintains a list of sha1 sums of the files which should be imported. If the checksum of a file did not changed the file to import is skipped. I guess the UDD importer could profit from a similar approach. What do you think?
