Well, if you're sponsor is not reacting your mails, then you can inform
him, that you will start looking for a more active sponsor who reacts on
your mails and not one, that never takes care of you and your packages.
(This is no insult against your current sponsor.)

Well, you can still provide patches for the bugs or classify them
correctly. This are still important tasks and make the work of other
developers easier. So there's a lot you can do.
