I believe Anthony wanted to do this project as an example and to create "momentum", at that time he wanted to do something like a project each month. The project in itself doesn't require any DPL power, it's mainly a matter of convincing ftpmasters (which he is part of) and implementing it. It also required some coordination/discussion with the new-maintainer team, but I don't believe that any blocker was there. > What, precisely, prevented Anthony from setting down the policy? I expect the number of "projects" to be multiplied by 2 or 3 if we're 10 times more.
