Solution? Sorry, but I can't see the solution anywhere. Am I turning blind? For example, here[1], at ends says: 'You shouldn't need to rebuild the kernel, you just need the kernel source and headers so that linux-wlan-ng can find them. In pre21 it looks in /usr/src/linux by default, I can't recall if pre22 changed anything in thisregard.' Ok, I have this: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/linux-wlan-ng-0.2.1pre23$ ls /usr/src/ -l total 34100 drwxr-xr-x 5 root root 4096 2004-11-05 09:38 kernel-build-2.6.8-powerpc drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 2004-11-05 09:38 kernel-headers-2.6.8 drwxr-xr-x 18 root root 4096 2004-10-03 09:34 kernel-source-2.6.8 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 34864927 2004-10-03 09:35 kernel-source-2.6.8.tar.bz2 So, it seems I have 'kernel source and headers', but I get this: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/linux-wlan-ng-0.2.1pre23$ make config -------------- Linux WLAN Configuration Script ------------- The default responses are correct for most users. Build Prism2.x PCMCIA Card Services (_cs) driver? (y/n) [y]: n Build Prism2 PLX9052 based PCI (_plx) adapter driver? (y/n) [n]: n Build Prism2.5 native PCI (_pci) driver? I have read README.Debian that comes with kernel-source package (not with kernel-build as it has been told in that thread), and it doesn't say anything. I had this usb-wifi adapter running in Gentoo, why is so hard making it work in Debian?
