Oh, yes, I remember, Apple's M1 has a weird clock setting. Still, you should post that to the linux-fbdev list so a good long-term fix can be found. At worst, we can do a hack cleaner than what you did that check if the machine is an iBook and "overrides" the value from the table. Ben.
