I'm not sure which model of video chip you have precisely, a mach64 (Rage M1) or a rage128 mobility (Rage M3) ? (There have been clamshell revs of the iBook with both) In any case, you should _NOT_ enable these options: CONFIG_FB_ATY_GENERIC_LCD=y # this option is new CONFIG_FB_ATY_XL_INIT=y
