Sorry, its a feature not a bug :-)
You use your powerbook with closed lid with an external keyboard and monitor,
don't you? In this case I implemented a heartbeat beep as reminder that the
machine is still powered up. I have heard from some people that this could be
very annoying so you could disable this feature by setting HeartbeatBeep =
no.
