Please look at : http://people.debian.org/~luther/powerpc/2.4.25-2 And also at : http://people.debian.org/~luther/power3/2.4.25-2 which contain unpacked kernels from the -power3 config. Known problems are : pcnet ethernet driver is modular. Most power3 boxes seem to use this one. it is not known if the -benh tree i am using will work well on power3 boxes. benh told me that some other tree may be more adequated, i don't remember which one though, will have to ask him about this. > I guess that small-chrp-r6sk is for chrp 32 bits, but the other > are named Power4. Yeah, i did not build power3 config, since each config corresponds to 1 hour of build or so. But i did enable it on 2.4.25-2, so please use this one, most probably either the -pmac kernel if you use yaboot, or the -chrp-rs6k if you boot directly from OF (through netboot or other). Also, of use would be a /proc/cpuingo output, in order to add support to archdetect, once debian-installer images are built for it. Friendly, Sven Luther
