Sure, 9pt Geneva (writing) or 9pt Monaco (coding). You have MacOS, so you have these fonts. There are tools to create the index files needed by XFree86 and other font users. Then add the directory to your XFree86 config file. It's been a while since I did this, so don't ask for specifics.
