the install instruction say to edit the open firmware veriable 'ofpath' this variable does not show up in the list of open firmware variables. i am trying to run debian on a power mac 6500/250. currently i have it sitting out with the batteryt unpluged to reset the firmware. i noticed that the keystroke to enter into open firmware is publish differently in a couple of places both as ctl-opt-o-f and cmd-opt-o-f. which one of these is correct? what variable should i edit to get my machine to boot wiith quick? are there any known issues with the fireware on this machine...?
