Damien, One of my colleagues was one of the original Quicktime developers (previous position) and he told me there is a hack floating around the net which involves using the Windows Quicktime library on Linux and somehow hacking it to run on Linux (Quicktime loads the library dynamically, so it can load the Windows driver).
