You can download a XF86FBdev server at : http://dpt-info.u-strasbg.fr/~luther/xfree/XF68_FBDev_3.3.4_afb_fix.gz it is a fixed 3.3.4-2 server with also the longstanding amiga afb shared memory bug fixed. just copy it to /usr/X11R6/bin and make your /etc/X11/Xserver point to it.
