I still have some doubts, however: 1) what should be the name of the generated tarball? 2) what does "the original source tar file format described below" in Debian Policy §4.9 means? (I was not able to find the format described anywhere) 3) what does "This target may be invoked in any directory" in Debian Policy §4.9 means? Does it mean, for example, that I cannot use the following command: uscan --download-current-version --destdir temporary?
