Sebastien,

A 'moreinfo' tag is simply that. I asked if you could make an addition and if
you were going to import to Salsa. A DD can pick-up a package at any point,
deem it ready for upload and do that upload.

Additionally to doing the first reviews, I also keep an eye on what DD
subsequently request and learn from this. A request to add
'debian/upstream/metadata' is not uncommon, see link below.

I now see my contribution to mentors has failed my goal of becoming a fair
standard set of tests that all uploads are tested against and encouraging
uploaders to perform these and others tests on their packages to improve them.

For the reasons above, I will be stepping away from Debian Mentors and
concentrating on other areas of Debian in which I contribute.

Phil,

I didn't understood the relation between "all test passed" and your conclusion "not yet ready for sponsorship", and asked for enlightenment.
It seems I failed miserably, and push you away from the field :'(

Like I already said to you, I really appreciate the efforts you have put into this!
I have delivered better packages thanks to you.

As for the d/u/metadata thing, my point was to spark a debate.
Asking to include that file for projects hosted on github that always follows the same template seems a waste of time to me.

If you felt hostility from me, that wasn't my intent, please accept my apologies.

Best regards,
Sébastien
