Ehm...no you don't! I had to lurk around for a long time on debian-mentors to get anybody's time to look into any of my (defective) packages. I did get excellent, constructive feedback, but only after 2 months of NOT being asked in a short and simple email. And I was not even aware of the sponsoree CGI for quite a while.
