The best idea to get help and reviews is to maintain the Debian
packaging on https://salsa.debian.org.  Its not really a bioinformatics
packages but there is a Debian HPC team where it might be a good fit.
Please let me know if you agree and I'll happily smoothen your way into
this team.

For several reasons Github is not the best place.  There is
mentors.debian.net but my personal sponsoring policy is that I sponsor
from Salsa only since it enables me to do simple polising easily which
is quite straightforward for the sponsee.
