Dear all, FASTX-Toolkit and its library are now on GitHub.
- https://github.com/agordon/libgtextutils - https://github.com/agordon/fastx_toolkit Our Debian packages for these programs are maintained in Git repositories, but using git-buildpackage, where upstream tarballs were imported previously (this was how the source code was released in the past). I would like to base the Git reprositories of our source packages on the ones upstream, and while it is possible to make some kind of Git surgery to join the histories, I am not much in the mood for doing this. Would people object if I would simply create a debian branch of the upstream repositories from scratch and hence lose the commit history from the current source packages ?
