As in my previous email: #718225: live-build should authenticate files it downloads (from 2013) #731709: support uefi (from 2013) I am a member of the debian-cd team. These are just two of the major bugs, the real problem we had is that live-build is very fragile and did not produce much in the way of useful output when things broke. This is why there was a delay in the release of live images after the release of jessie. Thanks, Iain. --
