In fact, the last version I have only support VBR... that's a trouble for me since I would like to use it in software that need to change the speed (of speach stream), which VBR encoding make it quite difficult to achieve with a good quality. However, my entire collection of MP3 was entirely convert to OGG Vorbis. Same quality from my SBLive! but a gain of 10% of disk space :) A little more of CPU however, compare to mpg123, and no fixpoint like splay for the StrongArm architecture. > > -- > Brian Ristuccia > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > -- -------------------------------* *------------------------- Fabien NiƱoles / / [EMAIL PROTECTED] Chevalier Servant de Sa Dame / / C15D FE9E BB35 F596 127F Veneur Gris par la Clef / / BF7D 8F1F DFC9 BCE0 9436 Chaton pour Debian / / http://www.tzone.org/~fabien --------------------------* *------------------------------
