As far as I can see that license only sets up the terms for using the servers AOL provide. Even if one does not accept the "service license" terms one could still distribute TiK and even use it if someone wrote independent server software that implemented the same protocol, or one enhanced TiK to speak different protocols. As such, Debian should have no problems with it. -- Henning Makholm
