Hi Michael,

I don't think it is a hardware issue because when I boot to Windows and
shutdown from there, the system shutdowns properly.
The problem occurs only on Debian.

In fact I had the 3.2 kernel before and I had no shutdown issue , however I
had to install the new kernel 3.16 because I was having other compatibility
issues with the 3.2 kernel.

It is after that I have installed the new kernel that the problem occured.
