Thanks Tom! I'll try what you wrote.
But before I read you message, I read /usr/src/modules/pcmcia-cs/README-2.4 . This file says !!!Known problems and limitations: !!!o With the introduction of the Hot Plug PCI subsystem, some CardBus !!! drivers now no longer act like other PCMCIA drivers; most obviously, !!! they don't interact with the PCMCIA device configuration scripts. !!! These devices are configured using the "hotplug" scripts. . So I installed hotplug{,-utils} deb-package. Then, I inserted CardBus NIC, I heard a sound "P, P,". But I excuted "ifconfig", but it's in vain. ;-) (Only "lo" appears on console. No eth[01]) Also, "ping www.debian.org" dosen't work. ;-) The following is /var/log/syslog(As a reference) ======================= Oct 27 07:30:03 host209 kernel: cs: cb_alloc(bus 21): vendor 0x13d1, device 0xab02 Oct 27 07:30:03 host209 kernel: PCI: Enabling device 15:00.0 (0000 -> 0003) Oct 27 07:30:03 host209 kernel: PCI: Setting latency timer of device 15:00.0 to 64 Oct 27 07:30:03 host209 kernel: eth1: ADMtek Comet rev 17 at 0x4800, XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX, IRQ 11.
