My hubby has an Aironet card - works great. "Out of the box" with dhcp
clienting at our local coffee shop, too. :D

Nope, I have iDSL, not cablemodem, so no experience with those. Sorry.
However, my best *guess* would be that if you have a cablemodem gadget
that speaks standard ether, and a wireless hub that speaks standard
ether in one port, that you could hook them together fairly easily:

...made easiest if your wireless hub is willing to use a static address
and consider the cablemodem its gateway - and as long as the cablemodem hub
will honor and NAT its traffic onward.
