Package: linux-image-2.6.29-1-686
Version: 2.6.29-1
Severity: normal
File: linux-image-2.6.29

Hi,

now that firmware has been cut out of the kernel binary, of course the DRM for
r300 fails:

[ 69.137177] [drm] Loading R300 Microcode
[ 69.137182] platform radeon_cp.0: firmware: requesting radeon/R300_cp.bin
[ 69.163875] radeon_cp: Failed to load firmware "radeon/R300_cp.bin"
[ 69.163885] [drm:radeon_do_init_cp] *ERROR* Failed to load firmware!

linux-image-2.6.29 should depend on (or recommend) a package with the necessary
firmware.

Thanks,
        Xav
