I had one success running:genkdmconf to get things working after a downgrade, but after another upgrade then downgrade even genkdmconf doesn't help me. Arthur.
Funnily enough, iceweasel runs alright under KDE if started from the command line in a konsole window, with or without gdb, but it locks up if started from the K menu.
