no don't think that it is a good idea to get into a long discussion about this. I'm sure I now the status after such a discussion. And a lot of the argument has already been made on the discussions list (Debians and for that matter other translation mailing lists, at least the Danish list. This issue is not limited to Debian). and then again I can make one argument (but the argument is not made in order to change your opinion as there is arguments for having limitations on the translations, and my opinion about Danish and other languages could change if certain conditions occurred; spam, vandalism, very low quality etc.). Danish has here http://ddtp.debian.net/ddtss/index.cgi/da 22 pending reviews. Those reviews would have been proofread and integrated today, if this change had not occurred. It IS difficult to tell the future, but I'm quiet convinced that this step would mean that Danish once again would go into a standstill. The last 6 months we have roughly gone from 1.200 active translations to 4.000 (with high quality (my opinion of course)). So again in my opinion I think it would be a shame to throw that away. bye Joe -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-i18n-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
